New to Woodlawn?

Here's some helpful info:

  • What is it like?
    • Woodlawn Baptist Church is a Southern Baptist Church dedicated to worshiping God. Our worship style is a blend of traditional hymns and contemporary worship songs.
  • When do you meet?
    • Sundays:
      • 9:45AM - Sunday School (adult, youth, kids)
      • 11:00AM - Worship Service 
      • 6:00PM - Fellowship Gathering (viewing season 3 of the series "The Chosen")
    • Wednesdays:
      • Adult Bible Study - 6:00PM
      • Worship Rehearsal - 7:00PM
  • What about my kids?
    • For Sunday School, there are Sunday School classes offered for kids, youth, and adults. For the worship service, children begin in the service with families and when the musical portion of the worship service has concluded, children below middle school age are welcome to attend Cool Church in its meeting place on the 2nd floor.
  • Where do I park?
    • We have a unique setting for our worship space, as there are two buildings on the property. As you drive onto the property, the first church building (with the steeple) is the old sanctuary, which is not currently in use (it was formerly the home of Covenant Presbyterian). Woodlawn Baptist Church meets in the large metal building at the back of the property. We have signs on the property to help guide you to the appropriate building and parking.
  • What do I wear?
    • We don't place any emphasis on the kinds of clothes people wear to worship. We welcome all to worship with us, whether you are someone who loves jeans or sports coats (or both!).
  • How can I get connected?
